Dawn

Like a pretty daughter
she comes in all her charm
sharing hopeful light
of something new to come

Like the best art piece
that man has never done
hear the sounds of birds
they seem to greet the sun

Such a magic moment
of wonderful delight
it almost seems too much
for our humble mind

Like all good things though
the moment soon is gone
and hope I'll live next day
to see again the dawn
