Dear God, I want to say

I'm thankful for all things

the sorrow, the joy

and all that life brings

Sometimes our life is hard

but we don't lose our hope

with help from you, my God

with everything I cope

You've promised us so much

when this bleak life ends

in heaven close to you

and with spiritual friends

Dear God, I want to say

I have this as an aim

until my final breath

I will praise your name
