Our lives seem so short
we're born and then we die
our body does not last
no matter how we try
There must be something else
beyond this mortal world
a place full of bliss
like ancient texts have told
We shall not be afraid
God's always with us
the pain will not last long
the evil all will pass
Forgiveness, beauty, love
and from the bad things none
remember, it is true
the soul carries on
